View Full Version : FK Automotive LED Rears

Does anyone know if there are still issues with the led rears that FK do? I seem to remeber that there were some problems with them.

At the moment cannot justify the cost of the oem's once ive bought loom adapters and a new bloody headlight switch cos mi]y car is 1 month before they changed them to the new ones!! :mad:

Are there any other differences between the oem's and fk's that i should be aware of?

I bought a set for £100, only differences are that the oem's are brighter when the side lights are on, but when you brake they are really bright, the look identical.

I will say though that I think they only sucessfully work on 2001 cars, the guy I bought them off had an 02 and the braking led's failed to work, we tried them in my 2001 Xreg and they worked fine :D

Ahhh.... That may not be too bad then, as mine is a 2001/X which means that they may be fine. Did you have to buy the boot lights seperate as well tho?

Do you have any pics of them on your car that I could have a look at? Do they have the emergency brake feature on them as well?

My next door neighbour has a set for sale if you're interested. He was going to put them on his pre-facelift coupe, took the car in for a service and the rear sub-frame was cracking, so he walked straight into sales and bought a new coupe :) So he has them for sale.

My FK's came with Bootlights but I think they all do. :confused: and NO they don't have the emergency braking circuits.

What do the emergency braking circuits do? Put your hazard lights on if you JUMP on the brakes or something?
