Good job bro [cool

I most likely will be heading the same direction too. Nothing fancy just a good system with speaker upgrade, amp and sub ;)

I hope you go light weight Nick. I want your M3 to be lighter than a CSL ;)

Fas, Lookin good man. They are going make you bounce. I am in the throws of looking for me speakers for mine, although i have a feeling i am trying to do too much at once and need to slow down.

looking good dude but in order ot get the max out of the subs you really need to get a headunit which has pre out instead of using the high input I would def chang ethe headunit up front, unless i have missed something and you done it already :-)

A long awaited update :)

SORTED.

Picked up my amp, or rather AMPS, yes, TWO of them today and getting everything installed on Sunday.

Just want to give a HUGE big up to Andy who hooked me up from the get go, you're a legend!

Instead of a single 500/1 amp, from a price perspective, I went for 2 e1200s instead, one powering each sub. Got some trick lighting going in as well ;) watch this space.

Will post a new thread on Sunday, hopefully with soundclips (as good as bass sounds using the video function on my camera!) with full pics of the install. Trust me, it's going to look MAD sick!

BTW, I've decided, those sub protectors look poo. Anyone want them? Just pay for postage, or pickup or whatever :) They're for a 10inch sub

Are you using speaker output to connect the amps? I guess you'll be retaining your standard HK amplification for the components then.

Using an RCA converter to convert the Speaker (high) level inputs into proper low level inputs. HK amp will be fully retained to run the remaining components. The only change I am making is I am completely removing the HK sub from the boot. We're also going to be tapping into the HK amp for some reason, I was listening, I just can't remember why.

It's going to be a nice clean install. All you'll see are the subs in their enclosure. The amps will be completely hidden, for now. Just had an idea for putting them on show, but that will come later, but if it's possible, it'll be done in time for HIN
