hi guys hope you all had a good xmas break.

anyone know how to change the bulb on front fog lamp on a 318ci (2003) with m-tech sports kit... also with the severe winds this morning i hit a part of a tree and its punctured the grill beside the fog lamp and bent the grill in the main part under the number plate (no damage to radiator thank god) anyone know the cost for a new mesh grill?

and one other small question, anyone know how to chane the time on the business rds standard radio (casette version) mines been an hour ahead for weeks.

changing the front fog lamp is easy.

Your fog lamp is surrounded by a plastic cover, slide your hand in down the side of the brake duct and you will feel a lip, pull and the cover comes off.

Under the cover, there is a screw, unscrew, fog light comes out. The bulb is connected at the back, turn the housing 90 degrees, it all comes apart.

the mesh grill costs about £20 from the dealer, not an expensive part.

Changing the time, again, very easy. sit in the car, using the OBC stalk, flick through the functions until the time is displayed on the dash. Using the right hand knob on the cluster, twist it backward or forward to change the time

cheers for that, another question, will buying a new stainless steel exhaust make my warranty invalid or anything like that?

The warranty of the part you change will be affected. If you change your exhaust, and you subsequently have a problem, BMW will do nothing. However, if you change your exhaust and your washer jets stop working, completely unrelated and as such unaffected.

It also helps having a great relationship with your dealer. I phoned mine up today to tell him I'm bastardising the boot over the coming months with an ICE install. He laughed and said he couldn't wait to see it :D

LOL..Its funny that when i took my Convertible in they said they had never seen a convertible like it and couldn't wait to see the M3 as a finished project innit nice when you have that relationship with people taking money from you... :D
