Collected my new ACS type 111 rims from the dealers on Tuesday and decided to give them a good coating of wheel wax before I got them fitted on Saturday but then I discovered something when I waxed the last one it has a better finish than the rest in that it is totally laquered on the sides of the spokes and on the inside of the rim and on the ouside basically the whole rim is smooth to the touch and the other 3 feel rough, I checked the manufacture date on the 3 rough ones and they were made on 2002 as opposed to the better finish one which was made in 2005. Whats the story have ACS quality control improved or gone to sleep will be returning them to the dealer tomorrow but now it means I won't get them fitted till next week now.
