Hi Guys,

Thinking of changing my MV's for a set of Breyton Spirit Stainless steel lips, opinions/suggestions guys on what you think of these (will go onto a black 330sport vert [ok ) or any views on other wheels? Stick to 18's or go for 19's?

Cheers

iForged aint got no Group buys on at the minute... reason i know is thats were my next set of wheels are ordered from for my M3.. as for wheel choice bimmer it depends on what type of wheel you are looking for like Ray said if you want the forged 2/3 piece then IMO you wont go far wrong with iforged HRE Oz but if you are looking at a nice 1piece wheel look no further than the BBS CH in 19"as for stepping upto 19s dont let no one tell you the ride is shit because it isnt i upgraded to 19" HREs on my vert and dropped it on eibachs and the ride quality was exellent and the look was even better, compared to the 18"

Go for 19s you wont regret it ;)

i want to go for 8.5x19f 10.5x19r reading some post on M3 Forum.com & some boys was on about rubbing with my tyres 285x30x19 rear now thinking 10" on the rear would like 10.5" [ok emailed Vince at iforged he said 10.5" are ok i know his a cool guy but im not sure 10" or 10.5"?

James325
02-01-2005, 02:13 PM
Yes he is a top guy vince..He assured me with the offsets they use for the M3 i wont have any rubbing issues with the 10.5 rears but im going with 275 tyres, from what i have been told by Sam at Rennsport the 285 tyre on a 10.5 rear will definatly rub ive been down the rolling wheel arch road with my convertible don't really fancy doin it again ;)Digs dont put 20s on your car mate that red vert looks silly with 20s but thats just my opinion Ray i would opt for the 9" front mate i put my HREs on the M3 with a 8.5 front 235/35/19 and it didnt fill the arch thats why i'm going with the 9" front

is that a problem rolling the rear arch and how much would that cost? [hmm
just thought Vince told me 10.5 at the rear with 285x30x19 is ok [hmm

Its not a problem getting your arches rolled at all its just a bit of a messing about for me as there is no-one where i live that does it so i had to travel 60miles to get it done cost me £80 but tbh if vince says they wont be any problem i cant see there being one its all down to the offsets

Hi James just want to let you know spoke to Vice today deal all done swifts 9x19 front 10.5x19 rear he was saying no need to roll the arch, because most the width is in side near the shock,i did ask time & time again will the wheels stick out he said "no we have done this size lots of times" :)was going 8.5 on the front 10.5 at the rear but the wall size wont be the same, thats why its 9" at the front. Hi Ray,Vince advised me to go with 8.5 fronts as i lowered on KW V2s and he said the wheel has a chance of hitting the collar :( so ive gone 8.5 front 10.5 rears but i will still put the 245 tyre on a 8.5 rim np ile post some pics shortly ray
