CAI fitted to 318 N42 2.0l

Teddys kit came while i was away so fitted it this morning with a mate and it took half hr max! Considering the fact i have the valvtronic engine it just bolted straight on and came with everything needed!

I know in past fas had a bit of a game fitting his but was kinda a prototype thingy this is plug and play so all you 4 potters out there get buying!

I went back to my standard airbox as the car had to go in to have its aircon checked which incidentally is buggered, no gas and needs a new evaporator and dryer when it has its service in mid november :mad: (warranties are [bow )

Anyway, couldn't believe how much quieter the car was. The minute the car was home it was off with the airbox and back on with the CAI - ah, now much more like it.

How does the 2.0 sound now with the intake? Looks really good in the engine bay Russ.

it sounds really really nice compliments the eismann lovely, love booting now actually sounds like i have an engine. Response is improved too.

unless you rolling road it i dont know, on feel it pulls better and definatly seems to be quicker speed and the way the rev counter moves, so from that i would gather it prob would boost HP it also unless its just me has got rid of a small flat sopt i had.
