Good in a sense that they accept easily or ensure swift pay-out? Can;t have both I'm afriad. Been down that route.
Adrian Flux will accept anything, cheap too. But is likely to f*** you in the a** come claim time.
Others good at swift payout will not touch the S/Ced 330/M3 with a barge pole.

Easily attainable at reasonable money......Adrian Flux will give you the best flexibility. Just try to avoid claiming if you can.
Good and reliable: Direct Line, Tesco, Elephant, Admiral, Norwich Union.

Agreed.
Although i have heard some stories about Tesco's being a pain come claim time. But it's difficult to judge as you tend to only hear the bad stories.

I had the wheels stolen off my last BMW, the car was two weeks old and insured through Norwich Union, I only had a cover note and hadn't even returned my policy documents, they didn't quibble and even insisted the car went back to stealer.
On this basis I would say they are good come pay out time and they have been the cheapest for the last three years for me.

I have used Adrian Flux in the past, another good one is Liverpool and victoria.
Liverpool and Victori a will as you for your cheapest quote and try to beat it, they will also match excess etc. L&V were the cheapest for my old import Supra, £300 cheaper than Tesco!!

NU had my claim sorted within 2 weeks I think it was. That's including the assessment and everything. The guy at the yard it was being kept at until it's fate was decided said that CIS are the best to pay out. They seem pretty reasonable on prices and they do this "any driver (named or not) under 21 is insured" thing so they might consider your cars.
Good luck, lol.

No Afif, I meant under. You have to name a driver over 21, then anyone (with a drivers license obviously) is insured to drive it. A friend of mine has it and hasn't had any problems with it, but then, she hasn't claimed either. That's what the deal is though. Sorry thats a bit off topic.

Most companies do this but it's bloody expensive, from memory it's something like:
Any driver cover = 100-110% load
Any driver (25+ only) = 60-70% load
On the anydriver 25+ you can then specify some drivers under 25, but it will load it further, but not as much as any driver. Tend to find only elderly drivers or companies tick this cover.
You can also get 'Any car' insurance. Where a policyholder is insured to drive ANY car at all. This is massively expensive if standalone. Car dealers etc tend to have this, but usually as part of their public liability insurance i'd imagine.
The price doens't always go up....when my mumsy put me on her insurance @ 17 wit no NCB or driving experience they knocked her insurance down a couple hundred £££. That was Liverpool Victoria i think.
^^ that is what you call computer error . Seriously though. How the hell did they work that one out? Is she that bad a driver that they figured shed have the car less if your on the policy ;)?

You laugh but that does come into the equation. Higher risk but for less time.
