Bugger that as the suspense would have knocked me over by now.
With regards to the Supercharger: ive driven a number of EVOs and WRXs what sort of kick in the pants to you get from yours compared to something like above

Its totally different, as those are Turbo's not SC's.
With turbo's you get all the boost in say the last 2,000rpm. So the kick you get is HUGE. Cos before that the engine was performing as normal.
The thing with SC's is that boost builds with RPM, my SC comes in at 1,200 rpm, and stays there. The gain in power is spread over the whole rev range. The kick you get is less, but that does not mean its slower, its just that you have a very even power cruve with an SC.
Having my SC feels nothing like a turbo, its more like I have put a V8 under the hood. Its more useable power, don't have to wait for certain RPM before you an enjoy, power is alwaus on tap with an SC.
Hope that explained a little.

Just got her back earlier today,. Was surprised when I picked her up, no chatter at idle……???
But when I got home from the garage it’s there for sure, sometimes loud and sometimes not that bad.
The clutch is great; there is nothing that is going to be able to make this slip. It’s hard at the beginning, and then
the pedal just drops away to the bottom. You can slip it but takes some getting used to.
The flywheel does help with the down shifts, and the car feel’s less held back, particularly at low rpm.

Ali have a look at:
http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/
and flywheel section under BMW it expplains everything.
But basically it makes a noise cos its half the wieght of the OEM, and therefore does not cancel vibration sound. So you get what is sometimes called "chatter".
This is however only at idle in "N" and your foot off the clutch. Foot down and sound is gone. And on the move its gone.

Thanks D, had a good little read and feel heavier in the brain department for it.
Sounds like you have achived and are happy so cant fault that for sure... ;)

Now watch the direvtrain fall out and the gearbox give in. Just another excuse for Durg to do and SMGII transplant ;).
I have seen someone take the 6 speed M3 box out and put it in a Z£M Coupe so it must be poss.
Durg, make it 4WD, you know you want to ;)

Ed, you are one man that is never happy. Let me get my SC tuned. Then we have some body work to touch up, followed by gauges, ECU upgrade, and anti-roll bars. And if I have time before Gumball yes 4WD!!!!! LOL Sick.

good to hear you have another piece of the jigsaw sorted. Get it tuned and I'm sure it'll be even more insane!

Mate i have to live vicariously through you to fulfill all my tuning needs. I think an smg box with that clutch would be sick, if a little jerky.
I think the ECU upgrade is the next thing you should do becasue not only will it impove performance but also reduct the wear and tear on your engine.
You should ask them to install their prototype software in your car when you go to germany!!!!!
