I have been offered the 4 piece pedal set for £100. Chap selling it, received them as a present from a former girlfriend (no this isn't Jackanory :D ), he's got an E36 and the foot rest was too wide when his local garage tried to fit it. The garage threw away the packaging but he thinks they came in silver foil in black boxes without instructions.

Any idea if they are genuine?

What model BMW could they be for?

If anyone's got the dimensions of the real mccoy for E46 pls let me know.

Cheers

if you can post pics, we'll tell you in 2 seconds

The genuine ones have a brushed finish to them. The footrest pedal wraps around the footrest. Replica ones have a shiny finish, and the dead pedal is a flat piece.

black boxes
All OEM ACS items come in white boxes. See, less than 2 secs ;)

Cheers All.

See this months or last months BMW Car Magazine for pictures (a bit small).

If somone can tell me the dimensions for the E46 (as the guy has no idea what model that are for) I'd be most grateful. :)

BigFas, when you say wraps around, do you mean that the footrest piece is like an 'L' shape, in that the right side of it is curved at 90 degrees towards the floor?

You not selling yours now?

I've phoned Rossiters and they're going to draw around the pedals and fax it to me. Great service.

I got the dimensions and full fitting instructions but not of the footrest.

If anyone can go to their ACS footrest equipped E46 and measure it and reply to this, I'd be very grateful. Yes, I know it's cold but it'll only take 2 mins ;)

I need to know by tomorrow am.

I'll try and get you the measurements tomorrow.

AFAIK, the ACS E46 dead pedal is the same as the one for the E39. The E36 version will fit but not 100%, the pedal doesn't cover the foot rest completely.

Speaking to the guy last night. His boxes were black, no instructions and the footrest is flat. They aren't original, so don't worry about the dimensions.
