I am thinking of buying Schnitzer pedals, are these easy to fit to an E46. What is involved?
Thanks

very easy to fit. Just need a drill and a tungsten steel drill bit that goes through metal (brake pedal), that's about it. Where are you based? There may be a fellow member willing to help you if you live near one

If you drill the bottom holes smaller you can just screw staight in to the platic and saves you fiddling around trying to get the nut on at the bottom of the accelerator.
I did this with mine and the advice came from peppernick.

Yep just use a 2mm drill bit for the accelerator pedal and tap the 3mm cap screws into the plastic. They will not budge.

what are they like to use, I had some reps on my e36 and they were a bit slippery when your shoes are wet.

TIP :
use quality no 6 stainless self tapping screws for the throttle pedal , with a little mastic gl;ue on back of pedal . This reduces a potentially 20 minute fit down to 5 mins or less ...those tiny nuts are a c..t to fit at bottom of pedal and easy to slip out of your fingers and get lost in carpet or hinge mechanism . Try to use flat head rather than countersunk screws
If using replica set of pedals , the lower holes on the brake and clutch will probably oversail the actual oem pedal , so use a small washer to to trap the two pedals together , with the back of the washer pressing against the back of the oem pedal . Then file down edge of washer where it slightly protrudes past sides of pedal so it cant be seen .
hope this makes sense
