Those with LED rear lights on an E46, Brake Force Display can now be activated easily, 5 mins job without even a visit to the dealer [:)] Best of all, you can adjust the sensitivity to control how soon the outer ring of LEDs light up and how the intensity of the other LEDs responds to your brake pedal.

Isn't it true that the extended brake display only comes into effect under emergency braking conditions? It's a pimp, relatively cheap mod, but in over 10 years of driving, I can't rememeber emergency stopping more than 5 times, if that

The intensity of the LEDs will increase proportional to the amount of brake pedal applied. If you stomp on the pedal hard, the outer ring of LEDs will come on at full blast, if not it progressively lights up more when you slowly depress the pedal.

I have asked to dealers to activate this function on my car everytime I go there..and they make up new excuses constantly!!!

Would this work on my lights...they came standard..not retrofitted!

It will work on any car with with working OEM LED rear lights, factory or retrofit ;)
