M3 Mirrors Options and Next Mod

Well Eid is coming , and my birthday is just about a week after it so I'm going to have some hard cash(My father gives us money for Eid , all fathers here do :D) , and well my parents don't know what to get me for my birthday they know I like to spend on my car so thats what they give me for my birthday :D and I'm selling some shares I have :D, so I'm thinking of my next mod that I would fit M3 mirrors , I have a budget of about 400-500 pounds I would think , I was thinking of getting Silver Crbon Fiber mirrors from Roy as the don't need painting , they look diffrent , but one problem is that they are desgined for RHD cars , so they are on the list but I wanna see what other options I've got ? and have you heard any problems from fitting RHD mirrors to LHD cars?

By the way my car soen't have the M-tech kit , so would look good? should I be thinking of another mod Exuhast maybe?

Fitting M mirrors shuldnt b a problem. Just make sure you have the right mirror glass for LHD

I wonder if Roy actually sells the glass with the mirrors ?

Roy does, but the glass is identical for LHD and RHD. It's the base plates which are angled slightly differently.

I would get an M3 steering wheel. 2 years on and it's still one of the best mods I've ever done. £215 is the UK price, so with the change, get an ipod / ipod interface ;)

Well here is what I have already on my car :
1. Silver Gauge rings
2. CCFL angel lights
3. M3 steering wheel
4. ACS Springs
5. BMW Aluminum gear knob , peddals , foot rest , and handbrak lever
6. ACS Exhuast Tip
So I've already dome the M3 steering and its one of the best Mods I had too :D

Unfortunatly, i didn't check and purchased some LHD M3 mirrors from fleebay a couple of months back, still got them on my car as they look great but they're not perfect due to the angle... You live and learn i guess..

As soon as i can afford to upgrade to some RHD ones from Teddy then mine will become avaliable at a good price ;)

I made the same mistake of getting LHD M3 mirrors. Had to go through the hassle of buying another pair (RHD) and loosing out £££. The LHD angle on a RHD car imo is unbearable.

The mirror glass for all european cars AFAIK is the same. US ones have the jargen "Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" :D

so is the problem with the mirror glass its self? or in the base? My car has the driver mirror normal but the one n the other door same as the US "Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" becuase if the problem is only in the glass , would orginal M3 mirrror glass fit?as at the dealer there are 2 M3s with accidants and one of them has been sitting there for 7 months maybe I could get the glass with a good price?

As I said above AFAIK all the M3 Mirrors glass are the same for LHD and RHD. It is the moulding for the base and the cup that is differerent.

this is going to sound stupid :D , but whats AFAIK ? what do you mean base and cup?

AFAIK= As far as I know...

Base is the part that attaches the complete unit to the car. The cup is the part that the glass would be seated in (green). The red shows the base.

ok , so I think this mod is out of the question unless there is US spec version , how about exuhast does essmienn have an international website? becuase all I find is the US one , what other mods could I get ?
