I had my car in recently to Jason for an oil service and he discovered dripping oil from the rocker gasket. It was a small oil drip which had gone down the side of the engine and then gathered in the plastic cover under the engine, so I did'nt notice.
It could've been left as the oil level did'nt fall, but I'm a firm believer in getting work done sooner rather than later. As the gasket was getting done I decided to get the swirl flaps replaced with blanking plates. Although swirl flap failure is pretty rare on E90's, mine were full of oily gunk, so more a preventative measure:(
All done in a day and the car feels a little more responsive which can't be bad.
Thx to Jason and the team there.:D
