Hi guys..finally got a black grill for my car..huge thank you to Big Fas for the head ups...
Opinions..on whether to paint it to body colour (saphire black). Let me know what you guys think.
Durgesh gave me his opinion this morning...and said he didn't think it need to be painted..but i noticed a scratch on the grill....

Post some pics up. Dry fit the grills to the car and that way we can see if they look better gloss or bodycoloured.
Personally I would go body coloured, but when mine came, they were matt black and looked rubbish, but gloss black I've not seen

they actually look pretty good as they are! Unless the scratch is really noticeable, I would leave them as they are.
You will still have your stock grills, so you can always paint them at any time in the future, right?

Fas found a guy advertising them which he mailed me and then I contacted him.
He says he got these grills from Germany and that you can get them for the facelift model from there. :)

i just bought some matching paint and painted it on my chrome grill.
i would suggest to put your grill on first to see how it looks before deciding to paint or not.
taking the whole grill is just a minute job.

I did the same thing as rossi46, cheapest mod ever :) :) . Actually I did it the day I bought the car as I couldnt stand the chrome. But you really need to prepare the surface before spraying.

hey harsha, i jus got mine this morning and are same like yours, iv fitted them to the car and they look good, so if i was u i wud run them th way they are now and as fas said u can always get them done later. You neva know u mite get a splitter or something in the futre, and u can just get them sprayed up then! :) Goodluck and keeps us posted on your decision ;)
