As above and the problem I'm having is that I can't play playlists that I've burnt to a CDR disc via iTunes. Anyone know a solution?

Did you burn them as an audio cd? iTunes is crap this has happened to me before to last few tracks. Try find another program to burn the tracks. As above test cd in another car or get some new ice to run off the ipod :D

did you definitely burn the playlist to a CD as an audio disk and not an mp3 (or "data" disc ) ?

Also I take it this is just a CD and not a DVD disk as the iDrive will read a DVD disk but doesn't handle it very well.

Straight audio CD will be no issues at all.

Straight data CD will be fine IF they are all mp3 but not if you got iTunes AAC format, or WMA.. etc.

If the sentance above makes no sense then just make sure they are pure audio discs and you should be ok :p

Thanks for the replies gents, will try again tomorrow. Haven't had a chance to try them in another car or on my laptop, they're still sitting in the car after the failed attempt. Will report back......

Thanks again, much appreciated.
