Hi guys

I am hoping someone will be able to help me by telling what drop my 330d sport will have as standard over a similar SE spec car.

I could really do with knowing as I would like to drop my car but all the quoted drops relate to the SE and not the sport.

Thanx in advance

I would say probably 1.5-2cm front and 1cm rear.

Hard to say objectively. A lot of variants eg: fuel load, passenger, ICE in the boot etc.

I'm sure you've seen Sport suspension in person. Use it as a reference point. If you compare it with the Pro Kit, the rear is pretty much similar but front drops by another 1.5cm. Sport line drops the rear 0.5cm and front 2cm. Then you have various other springs like H&R, Tein, Apex, Boge all with slightly different drop values.

Best way to approach this is to decide what springs you want and ask someone to post a pic of the same car (if possible) with the particular set of springs. A picture paints a 1000 words  ;)

Thx for the response

I have the sport suspension now, so you have answered my question nothing at the rear and a slight drop at the front.

Do you think this would work ok with 19" rims?

As Nick says it depends on the springs you use. I have Boge springs on my 330i. It is an SE but the car is now significantly lower than a sport. All the sports I have seen in standard form you could insert your finger between the tyre and the wheel arch at the rear, you can't on mine.

It is now even lower than this as it has now settled.
