I've noticed that the inner two rings "power" up, also they flash/flicker by themselves when the ignition is turned? even when the lights are set to off?
Will get some daytime pics, once the car is clean :D
Thanks to Teddy and Dan (aka scorcher, evilbeemer.com)
That looks much better geez ;)

TART! :D :D ........good to see a change in modding direction Mr Performance King ;)
Keep the wire lengths equal and as short as possible, so the rings will all power up at the same time.
thanks nass!
Tart mod? hahah I think you have the Tart King award Nick ;) carbon fiber centre console...lol
Thanks for the headsup on the ccfl wiring, I did had to extend them alittle, will redo them for the "equal but, shortest path possible".

dayummmmmmmm that looks sick the flicker is quite usual no need to worry. There might be a slight delay occasionally but not a big problem either it's the nature of the fluorescent lighting technology it needs to warm up a bit.
Tin you won't mind me using some of the pics above for commercial use do you? :p

looks good buddy. As Teddy said, flicker is normal and to be honest, I like it that way. At dusk, when I turn them on, you can see the other drivers staring as they come on one by one :D
:D
cool, no probs Ted, I'll get some daytime shots etc.. happy to help out dude.
I started the car up today and put the lights on and they all worked fine after 5secs or so.. of Big "powering up" Fas style.. hahah they look bbbbbaaaaaaddd
Hopefully get some folks from the M5board.com coming your way Ted. ;)
So, the Evotech crew have CCFL's and ACS type III's... whats next? :D
teddy's halo's are so cool :D. I always get everyone looking at them espcially when im parked with JUST the halo's on. They look even better on xenon's i reckon!
