View Full Version : Ac Schnitzer mirrors

Hi

Iv got some Ac Schnitzer Mirrors all sprayed up.. but the passenger side has only got the mirror shell and glass... I know i could use a motor from any standerd mirror.. but will i need any other parts?? i.e maybe a clip for the glass to attach to the shell or soemthing? or will everything i need be inside a normall mirror?

The motor will always come from the standard mirrors, so not having one is normal. You should have mirror glass, a black plastic mount and an adapter plate for the mirror to clip into

ahhh man :(

I ent got the Mount or the clip...... anyone got any suggestions?

the only issue i can think of are screws that hold the motor to the mirror housing, and the shape of ridges that clip the mirror onto the motor housing.

when I had the Schnitzers fitted to my saloon, I just bought the glass, housing and the plate that bolts to the car.

The motors are a direct swap but you may have to faff about a bit to get it right, the bodyshop I used put the motors in wrong so up was right, right was down etc etc. They said that it was tough and I had to deal with it, I took it apart, rotated the mirror motor and it was spot on. Excellent mod - get it done!
