OEM CD Changer

Hi got my CD changer today but I have a weird question:- it has 3 Red plugs that look like wing nuts in the base I think they are travel plugs but do i need to take these out b 4 i fit it ?

yes. take them out, as you've sussed, they're travel keys to make sure that nothing gets damaged during transit.
