elsewhere I posted pics of a bog standard E60 530 that owner asked us to improve the general styling on , with details of planned mods .

We have just finished first part of the work :

- genuine ACS Type 4 18" wheels
- genuine ACS gearknob
- CA HID conversion

next phase is

- mirrors
-ACS silver interior
- Replica ACS bodykit panels
- genuine ACS outer chrome trims
-M3 side gills
- Silver leather inserts to each seat with ACS embroidered logos

Lets face it, it would be hard NOT to improve the e60's styling! [bang

Must admit that its starting to look much more stylish, can't wait to see the finished product and with a bit of advertising this should be a popular car to upgrade. [ok

The only thing I would change is that it would look much better on 19's, as the e60 like all New Generation BMW's has some seriously big arches to fill.

Im in love with the E60 sport now, i would gladly swap my car to one.

Looks a little better, but still looks a little plain.

The ACS roof spoiler looks awesome!!! The detail looks so much better than the plain plastic slab for the e39. Good job.

And those Type 4's have to be 19 surely? As far as I know genuine Type 4's only come in 2 sizes, one piece-19's, 2 piece-20's

Saw that very car in flesh today at Roy's. Very clean and is coming along nicely. I love the rear end though, the ACS lip and the Eisenmann exhaust [cool

Why go with the M grill/gill?????

Love the staggered exhaust.

Is there a reason why gen ACS wings and then rep body kit??

All in all i love the dressed up e60s

Still an ugly car imho although the mods have improved it slightly, 19" would have been better too.

I am still far from convinced that the E60 can look anywhere near as good as a well sorted E39 , to me it is too slab sided and plain . These latest mods have helped , but not much IMO ....;)

The wheels are in fact 19" , my typing error :)

We had to use genuine parts so far because our replica kits only include front and rear bumpers and skirts for now .

This car will be the very first E60 in UK to receive ACS new silver "diagonal " carbon interior panel set , not due in for 3 weeks tho .

more as it happens ...:)

I agree with your comments on the slab sidedness of the e60, I personally think it would be a different car altogether if they had incorporated rubbing strips ala e39. [ok

With some peoples attitudes in car parks these days, I think as the e60 becomes more common & available to the masses, its gonna look terrible with those big old sides full of little parking dents. [bang
