Teddy, have you got any exhaust trims that would fit an 1997 840? BMW no longer stock the original trims. The OD of the pipes seems to be around 65mm I was thinking Eisenmann straight round angle cut tips might be an option, do you know what the ID of the 70mm ones are?

the only ones i have are the figure 8 style tips. but you need 2 right?

I am sure any decent exhaust garage would be able to sort them out for you? like longlife or topgear branches?

Yeah, I've actually been thinking I could get some stainless pipe from Jetex, cut polish the weld the on.

yeah that would be ideal, no need to get branded ones, they are only tips!
