Most web sites to do with cars have at 1 point or another tried to be an online magazine. Some start like this and end up being a forum, some are clubs that end up being a forum, some are cruise sites that end up being, well, just a forum.

The common thing with most of these sites, is, that they are shit, in fact probably 99% of them are total crap.

Egotistical arseholes that are out for themselves only and have nothing to offer there members.

This place being an 1 of the 1% of sites that truly is, a good place to be a member of.

And now i have come across another site, that while it has a forum, is not forum based, and actually is an ONLINE MAGAZINE in the truest sense.

It may have been heard of by some of you, and others will not of heard of it, but they are here to stay in my opinion, and could just change the modified magazine outlook on how to sell there own magazines. I mean, it would be cheaper to buy an online magazine than to have to buy a printed version. So why not sell magazines online....?

Anyway, back on track... The site is Yoco (http://www.yoco.co.uk)

Have a look and let me know what you think.... And don't worry. IT'S FREE. ;)

Magazine type forums are only as good as the person who updates them. I've seen lots of sites like this which start up well, but lack the community and interaction of members and more often than not, the domain owner gets bored and moves on.

i know exactly where you are coming from... Which is why my comments are what they are...

But how many of them put the money into there ventures like this bloke...

I mean, he had a trade stand at MAX live...!!! That ain't cheap, so i'm guessing he is putting a hell of alot more into it....

I think he is going for the mag look, with mag advertising as well.... So that is where the money will come from, and going from the hits it's taking already, it might just get where it is going. Also the way you have to turn the page to see what else there is definately beats the normal website trash you normally see as if you actually wanna read it you have to see it all...! So advertisers have there page seen if only for a second.

I really hope it goes well for the bloke, he has some top guys working for him.

Have to get some decent cars on there though... ;)
