I'll keep my eye out for one for you dude. £21k should get you an immaculate one I would guess! I've only ever been in one Z3M Coupe as a passenger driven by my manager who is also a pro rally driver, and it was amazing!

Thanks guys, there are 2 versions.

The first (1988-2000) has the S50 engine with 321bhp. These go for about £18k-£20k dependant in mileage etc etc. (Ignore the stupid Hexagon prices)

The Second is the(2001-2002) which has the S54 engine detuned to 325bhp. It also has Traction control and shaodow alloys. These command slightly more £23k-£28k

The performace is the same and there are pro's and cons with each. The biggest pro being that the S54 ones all still have warrantys, but then so do some of the S50 if they hav been extended.

Please do keep your eyes out because as soon as a good one comes along, Hexagon buy them. I was offered one for £19.5k (Black/Black, 1999 with 33k miles), i did not have the funds and hexagon bought it off the guy and it is up for £27k!!!!!!

Wow Chris,

Thanks for the effort put in there. That is really kind.

I have been scouring Autotrader 5 times a day.

I am not sure the right car is there though, i really want a black one and they are hard to find.

I have searched under Z3 as well and typed in Coupe and it brings up some more, but they are all the over priced Hexagon ones.

I'll call my dealer tomorrow, he's a used car specialist with Heathrow BMW, let's see what he comes up with. I also have really good contacts with Altwoods as well I'll call in there too

I cannot wait to start feeling even more at home in this forum, i must be the only one without a BMW.

Guys, what do you think of this interior on an Estroil Blue car?

I have an option of an S54 BMW M Coupe in this colour combo.

The pics above are not of the actual car but will give you an idea. (NB the S54 has shadow wheels not polished like this one)

I like the interior and the colour but I would have to see it in the flesh to see how well they go together. Either way, it wouldn't put me off the car :)

I would offer my assistance in looking but it seems everything has been covered. Autotrader is about the extent of my usefulness :p

That's a really nice interior, Estoril flows nicely with black or silver, just stay away from the "smurf blue" and any beige interiors.

But truly, that does look really nice

Hmm i must say that im more a fan of the red on black combo interior but i guess thats not really a great mix for a blue :o
Blue, grey/black looks like a nice set up, must be a b*tch to find a black coupe .
I think at the end of the day its going to be such a lovely car but i hope that you are not now just going for the next best thing and not the one you really want... :( if you no what i mean  :)

Thanks Fas,

Thats just what i needed to hear.

I think it could look ok too, i was worried to begin with, but now it has grown on me.

I have been offered an S54 Coupe with only 22k miles on it and slight tints for a reasonable price.

I will post pics once he sends them to me.

There's a lot of grey there dude, if you can get rid of it at a later date then go for it. Otherwise it looks a little dull/dirty.
