i just find the 0-186 hardly believable. I know it is but can you imagine the G's that thing can put on you. Most cars dont get to 100mph in that time.

Weight doesnt have much of an effect once rolling. Thelast figures i saw for an F1 car stood them at around 20sec ish 0-200mph. So not much difference.
Remember the Mclaren F1 was faster than the F1 car at the time to 200mph when it was released.

1 million Euro's isn't "that" bad, considering it's a Bugatti and the exclusivity of the car.
IIRC, wasn't the Mercedes Benz CLK GTR of about 10 or so years ago more expensive than this? I remember spotting it in the Guiness Book Of Records priced at £1,100,000 or something daft, for a V12 which "only" produced 650-ish BHP, and inside was basically a fully stripped out race car, as it was based on the Le Man car version.....

It could still be embarressed by a mk1 escort though on the o-60... Almost...!
A mate of mine has a 2.2 pinto powered mk1 that does the 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and that is with NO gas, NO injection, NO turbo, NO charger, and NORMAL petrol.... Lol

i got some more stats today.
Its quicker than the current F1 cars of 2005 in acceleration above 100mph.
0-125 7.3sec
0-200 18sec
0-250 50ish sec:eek:
Thats sooo impressive. The engine intercooling system/ exhaust sap almost 2000bhp from the engine which on a bench dyno hit 3000bhp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are ment to be having trouble with lift at high speeds and they were having trouble to get the thing to stop.
There was a picture of it in Nutz or Zoo the other week with the test driver getting it sideways and nearly hitting the wall

I can just imagine the missus complaining about being jolted as I changed gear, no I think I'll have to leave it this time...
Worth bearing in mind that this is the car they had to hold production on for months because a) they couldn't find any way to stop it effectively and repeatedly, and b) more importantly really, they couldn't develop a way to steer it at all under acceleration.. I trust that they've got that fixed. :)
And I bet some twot in a chavwagon will still try it on at the lights. :D
