After 1 year of R&D we finally came up with our own 'proper' carbon fibre intake system for E46 M3. It suprised me that it took me only 15 minutes to fit the new one and although I have now lost the 'grrrroww' noise I used to get from the 'mushroom shaped intake' but I must say the car runs a lot smoother now, although not as loud before. Picture took with my phone sorry for the quality but my digi cam is broken :o

Perfect fitment and very secure (Class A welding on the MAF adaptor tube too):

Complements my carbon engine cover nicely:

check out the MAF adaptor it's completely different I believe Gruppe M one is plastic and very small. Our one is huge and welded perfectly.

With these in the market, I don't think GruppeM will be able to sell anymore of their £1000+ intakes for the E46 M3.

Sorry to jump on the thread, but after fitting a K&N Typhoon, is it normal to only get the "growl" between 3,000 & 5,000 RPM? Seems to disappear after that?
Teddy, lookin' good but from my perspective, the rough "fibreglass" finish on the grille intake would put me off. Will the finished product have a better finish?
How much for the Carbon look rocker cover?
