Hi Guys,
Today spent the entire day at M-Institute (@ Pro-Drive).
Set off this morning at 7.30am !!!
It was a driving day for CSL owners, based on the track, and road.
I have to say, it was a real eye opener. There was so much stuff on the road, and track that I just never relised. The one day session went through the lot, potential road hazard, driving safely at pace, and how small adjustments in driving style can just give you that little edge, to avoid a crash.
On the track, we did a lot of driving in the Wet, on the Wet Grip Surface, I found this very very useful, ..... after my close call when I first got the car.
Moved on to High Speed Laps, and then taking the car around a tight circuit only using the throttle... no brakes! or down shifts to slow you down.
Finished off the day by going back on the road. And finally through the cones, in the wet, with no DSC, sliding the car left and right, through the course. Amazing!
I can recommend this type of day to anyone. So happy I did this before we go to the Ring in a few weeks.
Big thanks to Jeremy, who spent the day instucting me. He's will hopefully come and check out the forum. Would be nice to have a Pro on here, answering questions on car control etc.
