Do I just change tyres or get new wheels???

Following up on my other thread, I just got advised from the stealers that car has alignment issues and requires 4 tyres. From them, this would cost about £900-1000 I'm assuming. Going elsewhere, we're probably talking about £600-700ish.

This got me thinking...I'm sure for about £1k-1200, I could get some wheels and tyres too. So why not? What do you think, just get tyres or spend little extra and get wheels?

$tealers said there was inner rubbing on outside offside front, inner nearside front and same on the respective wheels on the rear. You think I can get away with just getting alignment done and prolong the life of the tyres for a bit longer??

I think that black mesh style has been suggested and done too much IMO. Any other choices?

Mmm..Bruno I'm not feeling them and if anything would cost a fortune mate...I'm trying to keep everything in budget (£1300) as I know the car will need alignment after and an obligatory drop.

I see velocity do the 710's in matte black actually, no need to paint hooray :D

I put Vetini henessy on my old one

8.5x20 and 10x20 bought wheels and tyres seperatly and that came to about £1500 IIRC

But LM reps are a safe bet in 19"

20's would look totally awesome b...but you're right 19's with a drop will be sharp too.

Tyres I'll go 10mm bigger front and back than currents to beef it up slightly...don't want to go down the spacer route again.

Matt black vmr's for sure. Some reckon they are too much like csls which have been done to death but they are simply the best IMO.

Then you could maybe compliment them with some subtle exterior Carbon bits. Always looks good on white.

vmrs def quality wheel esp in matt black. that said AW cars usually have gloss black bits eg wing mirror base so I went for a gloss black wheel for my wife's 1er (see pic below)

depends on what ur looking for too bro

the vmr style means the alloys goes right to the edge and makes the wheel look bigger whereas the LM style because of the stepped dish makes the wheel look smaller. my personal fave at the mo on AW coupes is:

Mark also has a few other styles that you may like in 19s. (Desi hat on) ... if you don;t know him personally if you speak to him tell Dharman from evot with the white 1 series recommended you (he also knows George). He did a good deal on my mates wheels too

AW cars look stunning with the right wheel IMO ... but you can see i'm biased toward to the gloss black lm style
