Hello to everyone, have been checking out the forum after going to Gaydon and being blown away by the standard of cars on show, and decided to join in.

I am after some advice, I am about ready to order some new rims for my E46 325 2002. I have been struggling to make a final decision, but think I may have settled on 19in Cades Tyrus in a staggered setup 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears. My question is what tyres to run on these rims. I would like to go for a slight stretch i.e 215/35/19 front and 235/35/19 rears. Is tehre anyone running this kind of setup? I have had 19in rims on an Audi TT before with 235/35/19 all round but i am not sure how much the stretch would affect the ride etc

Thanks in advance for any help

Neil

235/35/19 up front 265/30/19 rear with no strethch or the above tyre size i.e 215 up front and 235 rear for stretch.

Thank you, I will be at Santa pod on the 19th so hoping to meet a few people.

What difference will the stretched setup make? Apart from the appearence, I like the look but dont want to affect ride quality and handling dramtically

the tyre size should be ok not to much of an issue, your be running a low profile so expect to feel some of the bumps! how low are you planing to my mrs 330 is low on coilovers and i'm running 235/30/19 all round an dthe ride is ok

if your going for a thinner tyre you need to deck it!

After the wheels next on the list is a set of coilovers, was hoping to get it fairly low. Is that on staggered rims?
