Reverse Mods

...how wiered is this [hmm .

After washing the car yesterday out of curiosity I put my original indicators back in after having black projectors for a few months, and removed my black colour coded kidney grill and refitted the original bling bling grille ....what a difference :eek: ... the grille has given the car more presence ... . In fact I think the original indicators make a big diffrence.

Has anybody else performed any reverse mods?

..think i've caught the reverse mod bug :o

Oh yea, eyebrows to no eyebrows, projector indicator lamps to stock, custom font no. plate to standard.....happens all the time, depending on mood ;)

I think the solution to this bug is just do a new mod :D instead of changing everything back

lol..it's really strange that I said I couldn't stand the chrome grille but now I like it again ..lol ..might even down grade to some 16" alloys now ... lol

of course you could really go to town and reverse trade the car in for an E36 [crackmeup [crackmeup [crackmeup

But seriously ....yes I too have had phases of this , I am sure most of us have . We get used to one particular look , then even a minor further change or reversal can be quite stricking , at least at first until you get used to the new look ..and so on .

My particular "thing " used to be that I would buy something new for the car that did not quite look right once fitted , but because i had soent time and money i brainwashed myself that it DID look good ...... then every once in a while say , I would forget where i parked my car in a multi storey or somehing , and as I am looking around I would catch sight of a car similar to mine but with some ugly or unsuitable mod fitted ....then I would be shocked to discover it actually WAS my car !!

Can't say I've done this (as I haven't had any mods to reverse :o) but I would agree the chrome grill give more presence, I think I prefer it over the black tbh.

I've done this plenty of times. The projector indicators you bought from me were due to a reverse mod :D . When I re-fitted my chrome grills to get my black ones colour coded, i did quite like the look. But then I got my colour coded ones on and think they look seriously better. Deffo think standard indicators look the business.
