Hey people, just wanted to know who you are insured with.

Especially the younger ones. I'm 24 now and looking to get an E36 M3, and get insured on that with 5 years NCB getting transfered from current car to the bm

cheers, all

Follow the following guide:

http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/compare-cheap-car-insurance

The risk category point is very very helpful saved me over £100 by itself!

Once all that is done you could try a private broker for instance A-plan Chris Knott etc. I have a reference for Chris knott (they are a private broker) so if you want to use them drop me a PM :p

Yes for anyone young Admiral win every time at the moment no matter what car I quote on they come back cheapest.

ps another tip is to add your parents as named drivers assuming they haven't crashed recently.

NB, NOT you being named driver to their policy. Adding THEM to YOUR policy. Lowers the risk. Try it :)

Try Brentacre. Make sure you tell them you got mods. If you haven't got any say you got a aftermarket panel filter. They dropped my mates insurance by 500 for having mods.

Tried them mate, they said on the M3 you need to have rear wheel drive experience, lol

You need to already have driven a rear wheel drive car for a bit, as my current car is front wheel drive

Tbh people i was surprised with Admiral, lol with the quote they gave

First the lady gave a price of like £6000 lol, just for the bm. then said lets try the multi-car with my other car - which in the end came to £3948.00 for both car - but still £3348.00 for the M3

Month till my renewal comes in. Admiral have slashed over £700 off my current renewal price after following the instructions I gave in the first reply. I will take that to my broker and get it beaten by 10% as well.
