Well, my car was used as the wedding car for my cousin's wedding yesterday (I was chuffed they wanted to use it  ).

After taking her to the Gurdwara (that's the church for all you peeps that don't know what it is), we got back in the car to go to the reception. Well the exit from the carpark is a little steep (but I had to come in through the same way and it was fine). So I took it slow but still managed to smacked my poor splitters. Luckily, no visible damage so I am relieved. But the thought was that if my car was any lower I think they would hve been ripped off (and then I would be really p*ssed).

However, I have still decided, after much ripping from you guys (you know who you are ;) :D at Gaydon) to lower my pride and joy. Just not sure when it will be (but it won't be too long), and whether to go for a pro kit with standard shocks or the full Eibach pro system (consists of shocks and pro kit springs), or prokit and koni shocks or the fullmonty coilovers.....

Raj,

Sorry to hear that mate, saw you yesterday morning about 10:30ish but was in a rush so couldn't stop, your car looked  .

Because your car doesn't have M Sport suspension then I think you'd benefit from changing Shocks and Springs, coilovers are a bit of an overkill inmho unless you intend going on the track. If cost is not an issue then I think FK do a coilover kit that is pretty good, Peppernick had FK's on his 330 me thinks, also I think Roy is doing a deal on PROKITS at the moment.

What is this with everyone cracking their splitters? I have never scratched mine even when my 330 was slammed with coils..... you crazy drivers :p

Raj, Eibach Pro-Kit and new stock sport shocks or Koni adjustables. Both work well. AFAIK, FK is a sunset company, product line is ceasing soon; hence they are cheap. Best coilover set-up, no contest Bilstein PSS9 [cool

I am running TEIN coilovers on my M3 now, pretty good but hard. They come with lovely fully adjustable top mounts and re-inforced rear shock mount.
