Nicks already seen this post on another forum I go on but I thought the CSL would give it some relevence here :D

A lot of largish pics and a vid of the M3 being pushed (no sound  and it is 7mb)

Drove the CSL (again) today but the difference was that we REALLY gave it the full beans. What can i say. I need one. I need one so bad - it has changed me to the point that I may be obsessed about getting one. The noise, the shattering performance, the gearbox, the car as a whole - I NEED AN M3 CSL!!!!!

My wife came along and when we was halfway through the drive described it as the most mental rollercoaster ride but faster and she felt sick - but she now understands my desire for one :D .

Flat out there is very little to touch this autmotive masterpiece, the seats hug your backside like it is being cupped by the sweetest female hands (nice eh????), the gearchange is fierce but just drop of the accelerator slightly through the change and is smooth as silk, the steering is sublime, grip is monumental and now i am lost for words so have some pics.

BY THE WAY DURGESH - I AM SOOOO JEALOUS

Bit blurred due to the car being nailed from a standstill and my wife taking the photo from the back but it is going some here, around 110mph and climbing!!!

Vid is 7mb and has no sound but watch the speedo and revs rise - and the camera shake!!! (right click save as)

We also picked up our 118dse, again, an outstanding car. Looks are very subjective but I love it. Good performance but could do with an upgrade (being sorted), amazing chassis and driving position, so below are a few pics of that.

I am soooo jealous matey. I would love to test drive a CSL :( . I think the only problem would be if ever I did, I think that would be the end of me (as I would have to consider selling the house, etc to be able to own one :D ). Think my wife would be happy..... NOT  .

And i really like your 1er. Lovely looking motor. What upgrade you planning???

Considering flogging the kids on fleabay to finance the CSL

Putting a petrol engine in :p .
Seriously, its going to get one of these tuning box gizmos and not a lot else as it is our second car to cart around kiddie crap and the dog.

I am really pleased to be able to say though that after spanking the 330 this afternoon I don't feel it is the wallowy pig I thought it would feel after playing in the CSL - still reasonable grunt when pushed.

However, as Nick has said, I have tasted some good M blood so as far as I can work out the next logical step is an e90 4 door M3 - need the 4 doors for work and kids - but the CSL is still calling my name - you never know

Carlton is 'Estoril Sport' different person, but all the same an equally nice guy having met him ;) .

Must admit, this salesman was as much of a nutter in the CSL as I was, both gave it plenty of abuse. My wife did feel pretty green after but she has said that our next car will be an M3 of some sort - did I say how fantastic my wife is :D .

Nice Story mate,

CSL is one SICK car, spent most of today in her, drove down to southampton, for some power boat racing.

Hit's 150mph in a flash, and feels like 100 when you are doing it. As you said the way it corners is just SICK!

We actually have been talking about it over the last few days, once you own a CSL, the next car has to be a Enzo, SLR or GT to make a worth while upgrade. Go on mate, you know you want one.
