It sort of reminds me of the old Harry Enfield sketch with the guys talking about what cars they have and there wives always had a micra or something!!! (Reasonable.......wife + good car equals death trap!!!!)

My mrs has a merc which I do drive, although a nice car it has the most amusing gearbox, you plant your foot to the floor and it just seems to rev really high (its a auto box) before doing a lot else!

mine and lauras car passion started many many years ago with Alfa Romeo suds and sprints ....we have owned at least one alfa between us ever since , currently a 156 ..still enjoy them .

Claim to fame : My supercharged and wide bodied Alfasud 1.5 Ti was the firts modified Italian car Max power ever featured , about 14 years ago !

Other car in family is the wifes Golf TDi, I also own a Nissan Sunny ZX (N13) which has a 1.8 Twin Cam 16V engine, hopefully though will be ripping the engine out, then replacing with a 200sx DET lump that will jump it from 125bhp upto about 200 once installed and setup.

Yes ok , its sitting on my drive now waiting for all steel and forged piston full regulid to take up to 20 psi ( photos of rods bolts pistons etc are posted elsewhere on previous thread ) ...but technically it counts ..I can if I want get in and drive it :rolleyes:
