Check out the new 2006 page of the website at www.gumball3000.com
My god would I love to do that... and I so would have... but lets just say they have raised the price just a little this year, because of all the flying of cars, and drivers etc.
This year gumball will cost £40,000 per entry!

For that entry fee, I'd rather put a little extra in and buy myself a CSL ;) . In fact Digs, I'll enter with my car if you fancy selling the CSL for the entry fee LOL. You know I'm only "yolking" around, the CSL is just tooooo    .

£40k.....now that's getting ridiculous  Flying around kind of take the fun away.
Let organize our own gumball, London - Monte Carlo - Marbella Now that'll be cool

I went on there after watching some coverage of the Gumball 3000 in 2003 that was on men & motors the other day, would love to do that £40000 for entry of 1 car & 2 people, extra people are £10,000 ea, just for the experience & cars I would enter.
Trying to convince my brother to pay for the 2007 gumball when it comes round [cool , that would be cool :D , he is up for it but would need to make time in his schedule :)
Cheers

40k is a joke...
5k for a driver in 200, 8k in 2005...20k in 2006....kind of ridiculous!
Ultimate rally was cheaper I think...20 thousand dollars right? I can't remember....
We can just drive along ...London - Turkey and come back!!

No offence but it seems like that it's so exclusive now it's more for rich boys with their toys where ...you know the type daddy daddy can I lend £40K to enter a race .....sure son ...there you go..

im off to re-mortgage!!! lol.. thats too much.. i was sooo close doing it when it was 5k each, thats ok.. but 40!!! tooooo much..
if we did out own.. london to monte carlo.. cost bout 2k!! plus advertising could pay for a large percentage of that!! especially if u get enough media intrest.
i'll stick to our gumball style ring trips :) theyre only £300 :)

me and a friend were heavily considering doing the gumball this yaer in either my M3 or his Murcialgo but at £40,000 sheets I dont think so, Like someone said its just for the playboys now.
Im gona go with RDG 40 and say Canonball all the way, its still the original and the best, and doesnt cost an arm and a leg
Paul you may have a plan

yea definatly but even the cannonball is going up and up, at the end of the day its for celebrities or high flying business tycoons thats what draws the crowds and TV at the end of the day, so a high price gets them, and people like us have to do our own lol.

would love to do the gumball but 40g's! think il stick to the cannonball for now !
Lets do our own Evo-Run and keep prices really low....bet it would be more popular just because of the large number of people entering.
EvoRun - for modified cars only :D
