View Full Version : where to get a switched power supply

right guys as some or you know im putting in tv/hdd mutlimedia system in my cars .And i need a switched power supply for the tv and the hdd player .Now im going to splice into the wiring on the iso connecter in the bmw because it has a after-market unit in there .But its the other car the audi a4 avant with the OEM sat nav and i dont want to splice into the orginal loom .Anyone know where i can get a supply and i can add in-line fuse,s from or a method off where i can come of the fuse box as ive a few empty fuse ,s i can use
any info wud be great

hi mate,
what i normally do on audi's is to remove the driverside under dash and the fuse box. then take the back cover off the fuse box and tap into a heavy black/blue wire which is switched via the ignition. that should help you out.
