As you are probably aware, over on M5Board.com a company called Fiber Design are offering Carbon Fibre overlayed trim panels for the M5.

Firstly, judging by the pictures this looks to be a serious piece of quality kit, which would obviously fit like a glove due to actually being based on your original trim.

Secondly, is there any chance you could offer a similar service for us UK guys, as being without trim for a few weeks as well as shipping costs would be a bit of a PITA.

I for one would definately place an order if the price is right, and would be very surprised if you would not get a great deal of other interest.

Your thoughts & opinions would be greatly appreciated.

You know , I had exactly same thoughts as you about this :) Fiber desin 's stuff lokks great , no doubt .

Yes we do the same thing , especially for E46 as you may already know .

The cost for all 4 door caps , centre console and three dash pieces would be aprox £900 , but we would need your original parts in exchange . Not sure what fiber design charges ......

Yes , Bob's is one of our US sponsored cars i am proud to say , we custom made all the carbon parts on there , and he is currently fitting some more we just sent him .

We are currently working on carbon Nos system for him .

imo black is the only carbon to go for in terms of appearence and authenticity ..remember all other colors are NOT carbon at all .

Having said that have a look on a thread i posted yestedaywith better quality photos of our new carbon kevlar colour options .

Yes thats right, i'll either buy some trim from a Breakers or remove & send my own.

Fibredesign's price includes: 4 x Door Caps, 3 x Dash Pieces (excludes Nav Piece as I have Widescreen), Centre Console & Ashtray Cover. [ok

Please also let me know if there is anything you could do with the Handbrake Cover & Gearstick.

ok its tight but here is what we can do :

all 8 pieces discussed ( centre console / ashtray are one piece ) for the equivalent of $750 us dollars INCLUDING import vat and duties , PLUS delivery cost ( i suggest fed ex , approx $110 usd , USPS just tooo slow and non trackable )

In other words have pretty much matched other quote ...let me know
