il buy the cf induction kit with pleasure if some1 will fit it for me!!!!, i spoke to Fas about it going on the 318 N42 engine and seen his, its not just plug and play, the work that was needed to get fas's on was far too advanced for me. Im dying to get one :-(

hi
yes , fas is right , min 10% off eisenmann ( i am just tooo nice ) , let me know what design you prefer and i will PM you cost , let me know if you want us to fit it also .
RDG , we fitted the intake on fas's car , if you like I can arrange fitting for you at chesterfield , junct 29 off M1 , then about 40 mls , will cost about £100 parts and labour , but we supply the carbon fibre extension tube and blue silicone connector required ( and not included in the £200 for the actual intake ) in that fitting cost .
The carbon Gruppe M style intakes look and sound great no doubt , but carbon fibre is not that good an insulator of heat as some would have you believe , so power gains and throttle response are not as high as generally claimed .
If it is actual power and response that is your priority , then believe me the active autowerke CAIS intakes are far better , they almost completely isolate the filter area from fan wash and engine heat ..THAT is what creates power . Allow say ,+0.5 bhp for every 3 degrees F you can cool the intake charge , now on an M3 E36 the aa CAIS reduces intake temp by 70 degrees !
see http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/ecis-induction-systems.shtml
now these kits are £300 to members and require minor adaptation to fit , but well worth it , and comes with real 1005 carbon fibre cover !
hope this is of help

Your gonna love it dude! :D
Eisenmann, you only here good things mate, nice work.
Nice little read that Roy, sorry to jump in.
In reading about that AA CAIS for the e39, do i understand correctly that for the e46 the sound would be of standard quality???
Ive got a CAI at the moment and i sometimes get the feeling that it makes crap note on power down... im putting this down to having the baby 1.8 and not a ampd 6pot. Ive taken the CAI off at the moment as she's been in the shop with some air flow sensor work and i think she sounds a ton better and am kinda hesitant to re fit it...arh life is soooo tough. The AA CAIS might be a great future mod :)

What options are available for the exhausts, can anyone supply pics of the various designs (+ any on the car), have just about scraped enough money together (I think) but not sure what designs are available.
Just to get a rough idea, am interested in a quad pipe for a 330i saloon?

Roy
Have sent you a PM, just started to check over the exhaust and it has not been stamped with eismann on any of the 4 pipes.
Thought from Usmans system that it had the name on each of the pipes?
