There I was, minding my own business driving to the local retail park by the Reebok Stadium to get some lunch. Get to the roundabout and pull up behind a guy in an old Citroen AX. He goes to pull away, so I move forward......and then he decided to STOP!!
CRUNCH..Straight into the back of him :mad: We pull over to the side of the road and I check to see if he's OK. He's OK, I'm OK. :) Check the damage and his rear bumper has been slightly pushed down and underneath his car. No damage to my car at all apart from a mark on the reg plate where I made contact. PHEW!
I offer to give him my details and he just said "no need. I can knock it back into place". I offer again and again he says no. We shook hands and off he went. :)
I guess I was lucky for a number of reasons:
a) No damage to my car
b) He wasn't some guy who immediately saw £££££ signs in his eyes and wondering how much he could claim for
I wasn't initally bothered if there was any damage to my car, :eek: I just thought "shit....this is gonna be expensive and a claim against me"
It all ended well. Just thought I share it with you guys
