sorry to ask again :o BUT
what does everyone use to detail their car? I have read on detailing world but some friendly real world advice from my ET peeps would be much appreciated :D .... sadly don't own a foamer or machine polisher...
I have turtlewax shampoo, Autoglym super resin polish, AG wheel seal, AG tyre shine at present but need advice on wax, clay bar and wheel seal...
what products would you recommend for:
1. Shampoo
2. Polish
3. Claybar
4. Wax
5. Wheel seal especially for polished lips on rims - I have heard good things about Poorboys - which one?? and how many coats etc
5. Tyre shine
6. Plastics interior and exterior
for metallic silver grey and alpine white?
Cheers folks

I use Megs tyre polish and a paint brush to coat the tyre - apply to a dry tyre.

blackfire is supposed to be the nuts. The AG stuff sprays on white ... erm .... anyway it is pretty good stuff tho - but you do have to wipe the body work and wheels down straight after applying
Kav - how many coats of poorboys do you apply and over what time period?

If you want to fill swirls then go with Autoglym SR Polish or Poorboys Black Hole.
Top with Collinite, very durable, great finish (put on very thinly though!).
Clay etc is pretty much the same whatever brand you use.
Tyre shine, Megs Endurance, lasts an age.
Wheel sealant, I was using Jetseal 109, I'm nearly out though, not sure what will be next, possibly FK1000
If you're buying www.elitecarcare.co.uk is where I get mine from, discount code "edition38".

Cheeky tart, even though it's true! lol
I've heard a lot of good things about Zaino and i bought a load of stuff ages ago, but i till havent tried it so cant really comment. For mr P21 is way out there, but not very durable. As i dont drive my car often this really doesnt matter, but if it was an every day car then i'm sure there are other stuff which is much better.
I need to seal my wheels too just havent bothered hopefully when a certain car wash opens my car will be welll look aftered.
