Had loads of offers for parts and for car complete but decided cant be bothered
..stripping it
..paying for new parts to replace ones sold
..then trying to sell high mileage 330
..Having a garage full of expensive bits that I couldn't sell
..And then buying a high mileage car cause I couldn't afford it when it was new or low mileage
...or buying something some thing like a E39 M5 now when I should (but couldn't afford one) 10 years ago.
To end up back where I started. Couldn't afford an M3 so bought 330. not this time. Would rather keep it complete and if I cant afford what I want, I not selling till I can. Not sure what I want anyway soo moon mileage E46 will continue to see me through till I do.
Thanks for all the offers anyway.

Mate these things happen, sometimes we think about selling up then put it into perspective and a reality clicks in. Your car may have many moon miles but its not broken and its serving its purpose, you have spent alot of money on it and its still one of the best 330 out there.

Thanks. Your comments are very much appreciated and what this forum use to be about. Think the moderators should consider a 'junior forum' for some of the young boys on here. How did I get into my 40's without their wise words of wisdom. I've got headlamp eyebrows and 15" 3 spoke wheels in my garage older than some people on here. Very few have an original thought between them!! Come back Munter all is forgiven. At least you knew the smell of your own bull shit.
dam and i stuck up for you, jub feel free to rip away;) ......
before even contemplating buying a new car some things you need to work out are......
How much your going to get for your currant car .
How much insurance is going to cost on new car .
How much running costs/fuel ect are going to cost on new car .
How much payments on new car will cost / if there is any .
im guessing this is what you have done and come to the conclusion the maths dont work, at least you was sensible enough to realize this and not stuff your self up with a car you couldnt afford run, there's nothing wrong with driving around in a 330i ;) .

Come on now mike, thats a very silly thing to do, i would never do a thing like that............
It is a very nice example so can understand where you are coming from. Better you realise now than actually sell bits and then think shit later...
I guess no other plans for it though now you are keeping her?

Look at it from the good side,
You have the car the way you like it, if you were to change for the sake of changing you would have to start the modding all over again!
I could have bought a nice house on the money i have wasted on mods alone! Thats without the cars attached!
And even i cant find anything to change on the alpina!!......I am looking though.......o yes, i will find somthing............:D
