View Full Version : Vinyl Wrapping?

Anybody know where i can get my car vinyl wrapped? And what design/colour i should go for?

Had a trip down the hardshoulder at 3 figures and the car infront threw up so much dust and stones that my front bumper now looks white with so many stone chips lol. So instead of just a respray (as it will only end up the same). Want something like this.

I know a guy who does amazing work, his name is Simon, he works alot of the Evo stuff and is a longtime member of the evo forum, anyways his contact details are on his website www.sjsdesign.com

Why don't you start up a thread with a good side pic of your car and see what the photoshoppers amongst us can come up with? That would be interesting and I'm sure you would get a lot of good ideas from it. :)

I like the lines of that original pic you posted, but maybe some more subdued colours would be more appropriate.

To vinyl wrap, you need to have a very smooth paintwork. With all your stone chips, you'll have to sand them it down anyway; might as well go for a re-spray.

Oh by the way jamal i knw u learning photoshop....i hope ur not using magic lasso tool...u will nvr get a good selection.

and take ur time!!!...just a bit of advice

Just make sure the vinal you get is the expensive stuff that lets through UV light. Otherwise you paint will become stained where the vinal is by not fading wih the rest of the car.

i used to sell Subarus and it was a problem when people did their cars up in rally colours.
