After reading his post on modding his Mr's ride, I've suddenly got this urge to go for something small and cool   . My sis is taking over our current C coupe so we need another city car.
It has to be small, easy to punt around town, auto gearbox and NO expensive alloys to kerb (for her sake), and my part of the requirement, trick and cool  ;) . It doesn't have to handle fantastically well and a small engine will do. It was going to be a SMART car initially but now it looks like we may be going French ;)
Citroen C2 VTR Sensodrive :D ...with paddleshift auto gearbox

I just love the interior, digital rev and speedometer, aluminium shift paddles and the 2 tone bucket seats ;)

YEAH!!!!!! I've seen those around in black and they look sexy as hell. Hopefully your missus will like the paddleshift! I've heard good things about it, apparently, even Clarkson said that Ferrari could learn something from Citreon's paddleshifts!

There's a black 1.6 VTR around my area with two tone black/orange interior and that looks so cool! They are cheap as well, less than £10k for one with 8000miles on the clock and insurance group 6 :D

They are around £12K brand new fully loaded climate control, sensodrive, 1.6 engine etc. No leather option but the fabric colour is one of the main atrraction. Saw one on the internet today, 4500miles 1.6 VTR sensodrive, £8300 from a dealer with 1 year free insurance.
Lupo GTI is a bit too 'flashy' if you know what I mean, don't want my missus to be hassled by boyracers. She will be well left alone in the Citroen. Plus I have the paddleshift to play with and the digital dash to look at   . 0-60 in 14 secs, but what the hell ;)
If she were to insure the VTR (30 years old and 3 years NCB), it'll only cost £280
If youre into Jap cars, im not to sure if you guys have them over there but the Mitsubishi Colt is pretty cool, try doing 70kms in reverse without a prob!!!
Im alittle biased as my father works for Mitsubishi :D
yea some of those C2's look well cool :D Interior to spacey for me tho.

Spacey as in too much space or too space aged? Either one, I like ;)
to much space around the driver. I like to be in my own sectioned off part of the car :D.

Got to agree with Westside, I'd go for the VW. Best small cars you can get.
I had a Citreon AX once. Fell to bits. Literally, fell to bits. CV joint went at 40 mph on a road in town. Car unmovable for an hour an a half because front end had disintegrated against a traffic light. Caused a 4 mile tailback. Naturally, never bought a Citreon again.

Dude get the smart..they are soo dinky!! Its like driving a go kart..and can fit absoultely anywhere...
I would love a smart car to 'mod' !!!
the best little car for handling and modding.. has to be a classic mini... wicked little handling, 13" mini-lite alloys, twin DTM centre exit zorst, big fat k&n, leathers, walnut dash.. baaddd... had one many years ago, was awesome..
if that isn't enough power, stick a honda 1.8i Vtec engine in, and it'll fly!! (litterally)
:D
