Well I managed to get my hands on another Jl 12W3 D2, a nice hifonics monoblock and powercap so I've had to redo my boot install from scratch. But after a weeks worth of work it is finally finished and this is wat it looks like at night. I will get some photos up in the day light wen I get chance.

Very nice clean install mate.

Is the box sealed? A lot of people seem to complain a lot about not getting enough bass into the cabin. Do you find any similar problem with the JLs ?

Are they wired for 2 ohms? Whats the amps output at 2 ohms?

I am in a dillema at the moment trying to decide which way to go. Getting sealed sub boxes or a free air sub on the rear deck or firing into the cabin through the ski hole.

cheers

Sealed box is alot better I think, I don't hav a centre armrest in the back seat but I did knock out the ski hatch panel to allow the bass through. A few people have used free air subs and put them facin the cabin thru the ski hatch, but I've never heard one running so can't comment.

sweet, i like that mate, nice job. Does the power cap make much difference, as ive heard alot of bad things about them. Not sure whats true whats not, are they worth it?
