Hi all.

I've noticed that there's two types of Eibach spring....the Pro Kit and the Sportline.

I want to drop the car as much as I can (its an E39 5 series), which means the Sportline would probably be the best for me. However, what is the ride quality like with Sportlines?

As far as suspension goes, I'd probably just purchase these springs, and upgrade to a full kit of Powerflex bushes all round. Should hopefully be fine :)

Looks like I'm going to get meself' a set of 18" M Parallel wheels, the ones on the 530 Sports (not the M5 ones).

It's the 2.5, 523iSE :)

Both are good, the Sportline drops the front a bit more but the rear is about the same as the the Pro-Kit. How old are your shocks? You may want to consider changing them all at one go to save on labour (especially on an E39 as the springs go over the shocks). Lowering springs tend to wear out your stock shocks quicker (expect half life from you shocks ie. 30-40k miles from new).

Oooo I could be interested in the Type 3's depending on what sort of money you are looking for!! PM me the details if you do decide to sell.

Good idea. Hopefully standard shocks aren't too expensive :) However, I'll compare standard shock prices to the likes of Koni, and see if it's worth upgrading to those.

Whizzkid, I'm in no position to purchase expensive wheels I'm afraid.

However, PM me a price on the type 2 racing wheels, please :)
