depends.
Do you have electric seats? If so, then yes, straight plug and play, all you need are new mirrors and the mirror switch. If you have manual seats, then you need to look for a fuse first, 57 I think. If you have it, should fit right on, if not, then I don't think you can

Sorry, my fault for being more descriptive.. :p
I mean I have oem m3 mirrors that are not auto fold, can I make them into autofold mirrors by changing the mechanism inside the mirror?
oh..and I do have electric sport seats :D
From your second post, the answer would I guess be yes. If you can get the internal motor (or I would think you could use the ones from your original ones (or is that what you were thinking???)), then it should be a straight swap out.

Actually, no. The internal structures of folding and non-folding mirrors are very different and you can just bolt on the motors. Also, M3 mirrors motors are different to the stock mirror motors.

cannot. folding mechanism is fixed inside the mirror housing with different screws and the stopper on both mirrors are different also. Too much hassle to convert I'd say just get a new pair of autofolding mirrors instead if you are sure your car can take the 12pin connector found on autofolding mirrors.

Ok, not really too bothered if I can't get them to autofold but am worried about the pin connection  , if the connection is different is there a converter available? ...looks like I better check the connection on my original mirrors before doing anything else .. [hmm

Ahhhh well, I guess I had a 50% chance of getting it right, there was me trying to be clever :D :p :D
