How much would you pay for a LCM ( Light Control Module) that can run the new LED's?...second hand of course.
Also are there diffrent typres of LCM's?, the one I have has no headilight up and down movement so i'm guessing it's from an E46 that had Xenons.. [hmm

When I checked with local $tealer 6 mths ago was told approx £250-£300 depending ?
I assume that you checked that your car needs a LCM & that it's pre Aug 2001 by Vin Number?

LCMs are £160-170 new. 2nd hand, if you can find one, does vary greatly in price but I would say at least half the new price. Although you might get lucky if the seller is not aware that people buy newer ones for LED conversion ;)
3 types. Manual dip adjustment for cars WITHOUT xenon, automatic headlamp for 330 and M3 with xenons, and the CSL on-off only switch.

If you get the LCM without dip control, your dipped beam will be fixed at a position. Not a big deal, just adjust it to the angle you want and swap the LCM out.
I can almost guarantee you your dealer will say it can't be done. It's not something they 'approve'.
