elsewhere you will see I have previously posted threads regarding our plans to be first custom carbon manufacturer to produce a CSL boot / trunk lid for the E46 Convertible cars ; well I think we have achieved this . Below are images of the final mold stage , next week we will have the first full crabon item made , more pics then

just courious how much is the weight diffrence between a normal one and a carbon fiber one?
are there any pics of a vert with CSL boot lid? I always wondered what it would look like?

Roy, one question, 3rd brake light. It's my understanding that all cars now by law must have a 3rd brake light. Coupe's obviously have theirs in the windscreen, but the verts have it integrated into the bootlid.

Is this true? Or is this going to be MOT friendly?

Also, any plans to make this in PU / ABS plastic at a lower pricepoint? If so, I may be up for having one!

the customer who actually commisioned the first one of these specifucally asked for brake light to be deleted , but we will offer them with and without on future sales .

I am not sure if it it an MOT requirement ( and if so why ?) , can anyone shed any more light on this ?
