330 Exhaust Valve Question

All,

I remember reading a while ago that it is possible to disable the exhaust valve on 330's backbox. And that this helped increase exhuast noise.

Has anyone tried this? If so:

1. How do u do it
2. Does it make any noise difference
3. Does it screw up anything (e.g. low end torque)

You'll see a tiny tube leading to the flap. Disconnect and shove a golf-tee up there

2. Does it make any noise difference
Nothing earth shattering, but definitely more noise

3. Does it screw up anything (e.g. low end torque)

yup, the Golf-T mod!!! I thought I could do this on my car, but didn't realise that I couldn't for nearly 2 hours :mad:
