Lets just say that im alittle over the moon at the moment.
I think it was Wednesday/Thursday last week when i paid up and this is Wednesday today so once again Teddy has come through.
For all those (there cant be many here) that havent dealt with Teddy, its about time you do.. Teddy was overly helpfully and below me away with his professional business like manner, with a week turn around time to NZ wow what more can i say:eek: :D
Now all i have to do is put it all together .....

Ok guys i had only time to install the CAI

Teddy it might have helped to have some form of instructions maybe if not in the box maybe on your site...not a huge one as you can see its in :D Umm its not bolted down to anything yet cos ive got to figure out from where to where...
First thing ive noticed is the sound .....its a hell of a different and i cant say that im sold on it yet but give me time :D im thinking cos its a little 4 pot that it sounds like a tuned nova??? :o
I dont know its weird and real loud in the cabin ahaha. Ill have to get someone else to drive her past me while im on the street, to get a ear full.
She was once real silent ahah not anymore.... Also will have to check out some pics to see if ive got it placed correctly and i think ill have to custom some bracket to hold it all in place???
Ill get the grill in later tonight maybe and take some day shoots ... ill keep you all in formed ..
Still very very happy, took me all of 20mins to take out the old air box and the CAI in.....awesome. :D

Looks good mate, sounds like Teddys come through once again :)
Look forward to seeing the pics.
Shuriken.
After an intense father and son session of driving and listening it was decided that the sound was loud but acceptable..
haha its kinda weird but in saying that you no when you are truly putting the foot down....
Its all fun and games...
Cheers Teddy again... Pics to come of the rest of the gear... :D
bet your gonna be staying in lower gears now ;)

look's good ali, some photos please :)
KELKIN, been keeping a low profile mate hows things?
Pics will be on their way either tonight or tomorrow morning day pics that is :D
I put the grill in yesterday, i needed to do some customizing so that the bonnet release would come out all the way.....pretty easy.
Hard to explain without pics but some adjusting is needed so that the front and back of the grill snaps together tight. At the moment i have tap holding the two together...
Anyway pics will sort this out and its not really a huge issue to fix. :)

wow can't believe they got to NZ that quick LOL they were only sent out on Monday, but my bet is on that you have a much better postal service in NZ than our ever so helpful ParcelForce in the UK :D
Because the CAI is so easy to install I thought it isn't really neceaasary to include an instrution....from the picture yes I think you have done it correctly. You don't really need to put the bracket on but if you do the install will look more complete. Or maybe the 318i kit doesn't come with bracket? I never opened the box...
Let us know how you get on :) and more pics

Once again Teddy its never an issue :D
As you guys can see i did a bit of cutting in the back of the grill for reasons i hope you guys can see.
The white stuff on the grill is tap ahaha i know i know but what could i do lol ill fix it later.. :D
The CAI came with everything and yah it was pretty easy to get in there i just had heaps of stuff left over and you know how it can be ....umm wonder where that goes ahaha...
At about 5-6000rpm in second she really is a hell of a loud and am kinda thinking that it might have something to do about vibration so im going to be looking into bolting it down.

Looking good :) You may want to smooth down the rough edges from cutting in case you catch your fingers.
