Has anyone got a Nokia 8800 and actually managed to pair it with their BMW bluetooth?

I have got one and its a quality looking phone, just doesn't seam to want to play ball with the bluetooth in the BM!

My boss has the same problem in his Z4, he was saying that not all handsets are compatible which is why he is keeping hold of his old 6230

Can someone explain what the bluetooth is for in the car? As far as I understand you can transfer your address book over, but I'm sure I'm missing something.

its for hands free. kinda ur car is a giant handsfree headset lol.
